VAQUITA
AT THE HIGHLANDS

3352-3360 38th AVENUE, DENVER, COLORADO

2016-2017

Vaquita Townhomes at the Highlands is named for the critically endangered Vaquita; a rare species of porpoise.  Vaquita means, “little cow”

In designing the Vaquita Townhomes, First Stone’s priority is to build a high-quality development project that will enhance the existing architecturally diverse neighborhood of the Highlands.  The eclectic Highland community is comprised of young singles, urban professionals, empty nesters and growing families.  This charming neighborhood is known for its proximity to numerous art galleries, coffee shops and some of Denver’s best restaurants.  Adding to the appeal of life in the Highlands, the Highland Pedestrian Bridge allows for easy access to and from downtown Denver.

The renowned architectural firm Hangar 41 has been retained to design the Vaquita.  Hangar 41 is comprised of passionate architects, master planners and interior designers, whose vision of the Vaquita will aesthetically blend this townhome project with existing historic structures creating a distinctive cityscape.
